For Amazon FBA sellers

FBA prep in Los Angeles: labeled, bagged and sent to Amazon

Amazon stopped prepping and labeling units for US sellers in 2026. Ship your stock to our warehouse in Glendale, CA instead: we label, bag, bundle and box every unit to Amazon's requirements and send it on to Amazon by parcel or by pallet.

One unit prepped for FBA: an FNSKU label on the product, a polybag with a suffocation warning around it, and a carton with Amazon's box label that ships to Amazon by parcel or pallet. What we prep for Amazon

Amazon's packaging and labeling rules depend on the product. We prep each unit to the rules for its category before it leaves our warehouse.

  • FNSKU labels

An Amazon barcode on every unit, printed and applied here, covering the manufacturer barcode where Amazon needs it covered.

  • Polybags and bubble wrap

Clothing, textiles and loose items go into polybags with a suffocation warning. Glass and other fragile items are wrapped before they are boxed.

  • Bundles and multi-packs

Products that sell together are packed as one unit and labeled as a set, so the fulfillment center does not split them up. More on kitting and bundling.

  • Cartons and box labels

Units are packed into cartons the way your shipment in Seller Central splits them, and every carton gets Amazon's box label.

  • Shipping to Amazon

Smaller shipments go out as cartons by parcel carrier. Larger ones are built onto pallets and go by LTL freight.

Keep your reserve near the port, not in Amazon's warehouse

Amazon charges more for stock that sits in its fulfillment centers, and limits how much of it you can send. Many sellers send Amazon only what it will sell in the next few weeks and keep the rest closer to where it lands.

Our warehouse is about an hour from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. A container's worth of stock can wait here, billed by the bin, shelf or pallet spot it fills, and go to Amazon in prepped shipments as your FBA inventory runs down.

  • When FBA runs out, the same stock can ship your orders as Amazon FBM, so the listing stays live.
  • Selling elsewhere too? Shopify, Walmart and TikTok Shop orders ship from the same shelves, and we can prep for Walmart Fulfillment Services as well.

How FBA prep is priced

Prep depends on the products and the shipment, so it is quoted per shipment before we start. Everything around it is on our standard rate card.

Prep is priced per shipment, by the number of units and what each one needs. A carton of labeled units costs less to prep than bundles that are bagged, wrapped and labeled as sets.

Receiving is $1 per carton or $20 per pallet, and stock waiting for its next FBA shipment is stored from $2.50 per bin a month.

FBM orders from the same stock are regular order handling: $1.00 per order plus $0.75 per item.

Why do I need an FBA prep service now?

Since January 1, 2026, Amazon no longer preps or labels units for sellers in the US. Every unit you send to an Amazon fulfillment center has to arrive with its FNSKU label and the packaging its category needs. We do that work before the stock leaves our warehouse.

What prep do you do?

FNSKU labels on every unit, covering the manufacturer barcode where needed; polybags with a suffocation warning; bubble wrap for fragile items; bundles and multi-packs labeled as sets; and cartons packed to your shipment, with Amazon's box labels on each one.

Can you send my inventory to Amazon by pallet?

Yes. We send small shipments as cartons by parcel carrier, and larger ones on pallets by LTL freight, whichever your shipment calls for.

How much does FBA prep cost?

Prep is quoted per shipment, based on how many units go out and what each one needs. Receiving and storage follow our standard rates: $1 per carton or $20 per pallet received, and storage from $2.50 per bin a month. Setup is free.

Can you keep extra stock here and replenish FBA from it?

Yes. Keep your reserve in our warehouse at $2.50 per bin, $70 per shelf or $25 per pallet spot a month, and send the next FBA shipment when Amazon needs it. The same stock can ship your FBM orders in the meantime.

Do you prep for Walmart Fulfillment Services too?

Yes. We prep and send inventory to WFS the same way, and ship Walmart Marketplace orders from the same stock. See Walmart fulfillment.

Is there a minimum shipment size?

No. There are no minimums: a single carton of units gets the same prep as a full pallet.
